1. Introduction

Welcome to Biolynx, a product of Hydrochoerus Labs. By creating an account or using the Biolynx application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. About the App

Biolynx is a pet health companion application that provides pet health tracking, medication tracking, husbandry management, and dietary information tools. The App is designed to help pet owners organize and monitor their pet's wellness information in one place.

3. Important Disclaimers

• Biolynx is NOT a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified veterinarian with any questions regarding your pet's health.
• Health information provided within the App is for educational and informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as medical guidance.
• Medication tracking features and any diagnosis-related insights are strictly informational. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition in your pet.
• Food and dietary recommendations provided by the App are general guidance only. Individual dietary needs vary by species, breed, age, and health status.
• You are solely responsible for your pet's veterinary care. Biolynx and Hydrochoerus Labs assume no liability for decisions made based on information provided in the App.

4. Account Terms

• You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use Biolynx.
• Each person may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts may result in suspension or termination.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep your information current.

5. User Content

• You retain full ownership of all data, photos, and content you submit to the App ("User Content").
• By using the App, you grant Biolynx and Hydrochoerus Labs a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the App's services to you.
• You may export or delete your User Content at any time through the App.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or objectionable content to the App.
• Attempt to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the App through automated means.
• Use bots, scripts, or other automated methods to access or interact with the App.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the account at any time. You may delete your account through the App or by contacting support. Hydrochoerus Labs reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately, and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Hydrochoerus Labs shall not be liable for any pet health outcomes, including injury, illness, or death, arising from the use of or reliance on information provided through the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Hydrochoerus Labs be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the App.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction within the United States.

10. Changes to Terms

Hydrochoerus Labs reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the App. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
